    Clarity Dynamo Package

Tom Kemp · 3 · Last reply by Matt Mason

We are interested in using dynamo to retrieve some clarity metrics.  It looks like there is a Clarity Dynamo package that includes some nodes to do this.

    http://s3.amazonaws.com/IMAGINiTSoftware/Documentation/Clarity/2020/index.htm#t=Admin___Coordinators_Guide%2FModel_Metrics%2FDynamo_Integration.htm&rhsearch=dynamo&rhhlterm=dynamo&rhsyns=%20

Where can I download the Clarity Dynamo package?

    Short video support

Clarity Help is great, but would be even better if short, 3-5 minute videos can be provided within Help pages to demonstrate common Clarity task workflows.

Drawing Index report of sheets in a model

Tom Kemp · 1 · Last reply by Tom Kemp

We would like to have a report in Clarity that mimics our drawing index in Revit, including some shared parameters that we use to sort and organize the index.

I created a report of sheets in Clarity for a project that is in Revit 2020 on B360.  That report seems to work just fine.

I copy it to another project (Revit 2018) and I get an error in the report that data columns are missing.  I think all of the fields I am using are built-in Revit parameters, or shared parameters that we have used for years.  When I try

    B360 Configuration

Tom Kemp · 3 · Last reply by Tom Kemp

We seem to be having trouble with Clarity accessing our B360 projects consistently.

We have the 0Auth Settings configured for B360 and have updated those credentials.

The Clarity Task Automation Service Configuration on our task servers is set to automatically login to B360 in Revit.

We are using the same admin login and password everywhere in Clarity.  That account has access to all of our B360 projects.

Do we also need to open each version or Revit and login to B360 in order to run tasks on B360 projects?

Missing models in BIM 360 Next Gen

Adam Roth · 3 · Last reply by Adam Roth

We are having an issue with tasks erroring out because the links models report as missing. The project has a mixture of links through desktop connector and live links to other 360 models. The 360 model links are the cause of the issue. Opening the file manually (on the desktop and task server) shows the link resolved. The automated load from clarity on a task is where it is missing. clearing the local cache from the PAC and user files is the only way we've found to resolve this. However, it keeps coming back.

    Ghost Task in Queue

Philip Chase · 1 · Last reply by Alan Strominger

We have a task that will not go away.  We have tried to delete it from the Queue in the web portal, it has been deleted from the queue directly on the host server, we've rebooted the host server hoping it might clear out any residual info about it, and there is nothing running on the task server that is listed for this particular task.

Navisworks Conversion task - add sufix output name

    Mario Laflamme · 0 · Posted

I love the new Navisworks conversion task, however I would like to be able to include a sufix like a timestamp to the output file. I usually convert my .nwf file to nwd twice a day and I keep track of them with the date-time suffix.

A workaround right now is to run a .bat script as post action to copy-rename the file but having this integrated in the task would be much easier to manage.

    B360 Download

Does the B360 download task download the most recently published models? or does it download the most recent edited/saved models?

    ClarityPDF

Tom Kemp · 4 · Last reply by Tom Kemp

How can we control the bookmarks created by the ClarityPDF driver?

We have a client that utilizes Bluebeam for project reviews with very specific bookmarking requirements.  The ClarityPDF driver is creating a “sheets” bookmark.  Removing this after the fact is a serious chore.

The bluebeam pdf driver in Revit has the ability to turn this on/off.  We don't currently have a Bluebeam license to install on our task servers.

Task Tray: Above set Instances of Revit Limit

Mike Underwood · 2 · Last reply by Mike Underwood

On both of our task servers, the following notification keeps popping up in the task tray:  "IMAGINIT Clarity - Working on the Task Queue (100 tasks) But the server is above the set Revit instances limit.  ClarityTaskTray".

Tasks are performing successfully, and there are no obvious problems.  Is there a potential issue that could be brewing?  I'm assuming that this may be an indicator that we have a setting that's not quite right.

Settings:  Max # of Revits=6, Max Memory Consumption=75%, Allow Task Servers on Multiple Win Sessions=True.

    Clarity Ver 2019.0.6817, Revit 2019.2.  (I know... We're upgrading soon! (I hope))

Disabled projects showing up on multiple users' home screen by default

Jeremy Luebker · 3 · Last reply by Matt Mason

    Hi,

I am seeing more and more of my staff having disabled projects showing up on their home screen. for example the Gateway project in the attached screenshot with the X through it was disabled and should not be showing up. There is also no eye in the upper right corner which might be part of the problem.

    Please advise.

"Only On Change" option for Launched tasks?

    Matt Mason · 0 · Posted

Tasks: Add "Only On Change" option to manually ran tasks (Not just scheduled)

Under Tasks the "Only on change" Option is only available when you go to schedule a task, and unavailable for when you want to manually run a task. My scenario might be unique, but I have a Clarity project for data analytics purposes, where overtime I will continue to add models that will never change, and will not need tasks to run on a schedule but manually when I know I have added a batch of new files.

    Clarity Task presumed dead

Damian Ponton · 3 · Last reply by Matt Mason

Good afternoon. I have a project whose PDF print task keeps dying. I have journals from the 5 times that it tried to print. It always gets through to some level of sheets being printed, but after several hours, it completes with error saying either "The task has been in progress for TOO LONG. Presumed dead!" or "The task has apparently died." It always gives up on a different sheet, so it does not appear to be tied to one troublesome sheet. Please review the journals and advise what could be causing this. Thank you.

20.0.18 causes task servers to not see pending tasks

Philip Chase · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

20.0.18 was installed on 4 of our task servers overnight.  Now none of them will run pending tasks.  I've restarted the Clarity Task Tray and manually launched the Task Server on all 4 machines and no tasks will run.

I'll be sending the Monitoring Service Logs from the host server shortly.

Task error emails for things that don't exist

Philip Chase · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

We are being inundated with emails about the task tray not running on the task servers.  I've received 200+ emails in the last 2 hours.

When checking the status of the task servers, everything seems to be running normally.  And none of the errors are showing up in the 'Completed Tasks' history page of the projects they're associated with.
