upload to Revizto
At to Clarity the option to upload into Revisto.
EllisDon is asking us to discuss using it for our projects.

Open With Audit & Compact Central
Why is there not a built in task to audit and compact a Revit model?

Automate Design Collaboration on BIM360
It would be extremely beneficial if Clarity could create, share, and consume packages through Design Collaboration on BIM360.

Navisworks Conversion Task - ability to embed database properties
We have additional object data linked from a database in our federated Navisworks model however the data is not held when we run the Navisworks Conversion Task.
If the file was exported manually the following option would be chosen thus exporting the data,

Trimble Connect Support
It would be great to have support for downloading/uploading from Trimble Connect directly. It's been our main platform for sharing files for several months now and it does have API access. Considering this is a construction oriented file sharing platform with online IFC viewing capabilities, having the option to interface with it directly would be great.
Trimble has Trimble Connect Sync which can sync folders but I find that it's not the greatest tool and having to use multiple tools creates more failure points in an automation system.

Add Model Metrics for # of Models Linked by Internal & <Not Shared>
If we had a Model Metric for the number of models linked by Internal and another for those linked by <Not Shared>, we could use the Task to check how many models could be affected by updates to Shared Coordinates and which ones need to be adjusted before making updates.

Delete Claimed Tasks
When viewing the Current Tasks, be able to delete Claimed tasks without waiting for the task to be running in a Revit session on the task processor.
Many times I was to kill a task from the Current Task page but get a dialog saying "The selected task cannot be deleted"

Publish Settings List Report
I'd love to be able to export a list of models with their named sets of Publish Settings. I could then see if there are any missing or misspelled sets the Print Range Clarity is looking for when exporting dwg's or pdf's.

Don't reset filter/sort settings on task list
I often filter the list of all tasks from all projects, but whenever I run/edit/copy a task, the filter setting gets reset, and I have to refilter again, and again, and again. This is not an efficient setup. Please disable the reset. If a user knows how to apply a filter, they would also know to reset that filter if/when desired. This also happens to sorting. I sort the list based on Frequency for instance, then click Run on a task. The page refreshes and my sort preference is no longer set.
Thanks,

More Granular Control of Email Notifications
We automatically assign all our Design Technology Managers as Project Coordinators (global role) so they can see and support any project. Because of the hundreds of tasks that run everyday, we were forced to turn off the "Receives e-mails" setting for these accounts. Unfortunately that disables every single email, but we would like to have granular control of notifications in order to receive emails about:
- Failed tasks
- Dormant projects
I filed a case with support (Case 00716746) as I was not sure whether dormant project notifications were part of this setting, and it turns out that it is. The suggested

Visibility on Server Availability During Task Creation
Providing a heat map for server availability and peak times would help us balance our task load across servers more effectively. If this information was available at the point of task creation, admins could select the times when they knew their tasks were most likely to succeed. The heat map should be viewable as daily or weekly based on all currently scheduled tasks on the network.

Number of Revits
Would be great if we can decide the maximum Number of Revits we want for each project, due to not all of them have same size.

New Navis Export setting for Revit
There are two Navis export setting that have been added to Revit recently, that would be beneficial to us. We would like to be able to control these from the clarity task instead of having to set them on each task pc for each version of Revit.
The setting are "Separate Custom Properties" and "Strict Sectioning". See attached image.

Run Multiple Appearance Profilers for Navisworks Conversion Task
Navisworks command line prompt allows for multiple Appearance Profilers to run. Requesting same options appear in Clarity Task for NWF to NWD conversion

Take PDF output from Revit using Clarity and then upload to the Plans folder in BIM360
https://forge.autodesk.com/en/docs/bim360/v1/tutorials/document-management/upload-document/
It would be great if on a schedule Clarity could take PDF output of sheets and then upload against the Plans folder and not the Project Files folder.

Report when models need Coordination Review
Since Clarity may be opening models to create PDF exports sometimes that model reports a Coordination Review is required.
Report this back to the host to alert the model manager to go check out why and do the Coordination Review.

Navisworks Export settings
There are some settings in native Navisworks exports that are not included in Clarity's Navisworks settings: "Convert linked CAD formats" "Separate Custom properties" "Strict Sectioning" Type properties on Elements"
It would be great to control whether CAD links are exported, as well as turn off "Separate Custom properties" as you can through Revit.

Open IFC models and save as RVT
Would be nice to have a task for opening IFC models and saving as an RVT. This would come in handy for projects where architects are working in ArchiCAD or other applications outside of Revit where the native files for Revit would be IFC. Manually doing a conversion of IFC to RVT can take some time for users, so automation of this type of work will benefit projects where external parties are working in applications outside of Revit and we are using Revit.
This could be something along the lines of updating the Model Upgrader task to look for both

automatically update project Revit version
It would be great if Clarity could see that a project has been upgraded to a newer Revit version and adjust itself accordingly. We have had reports of users upgrading models and not informing our BIM Manager so Clarity fails because it is trying to run tasks with an older version of Revit.
