How do you remove old task servers?

R Robert Bell · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

Our list of task servers in the server console show old task servers, either ones that have been renamed or others that have been decommissioned. I see no way to manage those nor does the documentation describe how the Task Server page is updated. Am I missing information somewhere?

How do I create a Project Query?

Tom Kemp · 2 · Last reply by Tom Kemp

I'm trying to generate a report (Project Query) of all the projects we have in Clarity with some information that we have as parameters in the Revit Project Information.

I setup the table with the fields that I want to include.  When I try to create a report I get this error message:

Make Metric Management something that can be done by Coordinators

    Andreas Dieckmann · 0 · Posted

A Project Coordinator (within a project) should be able to manage the metrics for their models.

Currently it requires a Global Project Coordinator role.

Expose all data in metric guidance table

It would be very helpful to see all data in the firm metric guidance table, not only when editing the metric's configuration.

    Metrics: Distinguish between model types

Model size is not always a good modifier for the metrics threshold values.

At our office we usually deal with different model types: main models (contains rooms and all typical building elements, may be split into multiple models depending on size of project), auxiliary models (usually facades, roof structures etc.), site models, detail models (containing most of the detail views hence a lot of detail components, line work and annotation). All of these have typical characteristics which also means they produce very different metrics, e.g. a detail model containing even a single room should set off alarm bells whereas the

Let task servers learn custom paper sizes from host server

Andreas Dieckmann · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

We have some projects that need to use a lot of custom paper sizes. Managing those paper sizes on the host server and multiple task servers is fairly tedious and I was wondering if it wouldn’t be possible to have the task servers “learn” any new paper sizes for the ClarityPDF driver that were created on the host server.

    Post Action inconsistency

Joost Schlebaum · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

    Hi,

We are having issues with the Post Action feature in both DWFx and PDF exports. I am trying to get 2 actions in order: upload to BIM360 AND copy files to a network folder. Clarity randomly either processes one, none or both (most of the times just one). Changing the order doesn't do anything. The Copy is on copy, not move, so that has been checked as well.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Joost Schlebaum

Subst drive not in the list

Evgeny Kurbatov · 2 · Last reply by Evgeny Kurbatov

    Hello,

In our company we assess our Revit projects via the R: drive created with command subst R: \\svr\projects. This type of a network drive connection makes it working as a local drive for Revit, it doesn't convert it to UNC path. This strategy is chosen with purpose, we see advantages in this approach over the UNC path. We configured the Clarity server and task machines to have the R: as it appears for users. Unfortunately I cannot create a Clarity project with path targeting to the R: drive, it is not in the list:

    The substituted R: drive works

Can a project be changed from a local server to B360

Tom Kemp · 1 · Last reply by Matt Mason

We have a few of projects that are moving from local servers to B360.  At some point in the future they will likely transition back to our server.

Is there a way to change a project that is already setup in Clarity to work on B360 instead of local files?  And then change it back?

    Room Data Sheet Room Images

I am creating a room data sheet and I would like to include graphics of the plan that match Revit more closely than the default svgRoom image.

I have a roomimageexport task that appears to capture images from a set of specific plan views in Revit.  I am struggling with formatting the [roomimage] to display an image.

    Here is the svgRoom image:

We just got a message that our BIM360 OAuth Token was invalid.  i have reauthenticated it a couple different times (on chrome and IE) and it still shows as invalid.

Can someone take a look and see if there is something else we need to do to reauthenticate?
