    Clarity dynamo tasks

    Matt P · 4 · Last reply by Matt P

All of our task servers are pointed to our folder that contains our dynamo script, this was working before we upgraded from 2019.0 to 2019.1. Now we don't seem them in the drop-down on the task setup page. Not sure what else to look for.

My Database export keeps failing. The task server won't claim the task. It evaluates it and just freezes. All other tasks execute just fine. Any ideas?

Task and Project setup permission issues

Kevin Mulvaney · 2 · Last reply by Kevin Mulvaney

Ever since the last round of updates I am no longer able to create new projects or modify the post action of any task.

The error I'm getting when trying to create a new project is:

this could be due to the directory not existing or insufficient privileges for the Clarity account: IIS APPPOOL\ClarityWebAppPool

All of the current tasks are completing without errors, however if I try to modify the post action to move the PDF's (for example) to a new location i get the error:

    Configuration - Error validating folder:

Even when I just click on an existing project

The Data Sheet categories for instance should include Mass families.

    William J Carney · 2 · Last reply by William J Carney

The Data Sheet categories for instances should include Mass families. With so many room data sheet workflows, using addins to make blocks of Masses, this would be a good category to add. Egan Space Planning tool makes mass family blocks to hold room data information based on a spreadsheet of room size requirements.

There are a number of other similar workflows with Dynamo or other addins. The process is to move the blocks around to inform the design and then transfer the info into rooms. I'd love to see masses added to the categories so I can create data sheets

  • How to Force an Update to Rerun

If an update doesn’t run properly for some reason, but it shows that it is the correct version, we can’t run the updater again.

    Introduction

These prerequisites are required for all types of Clarity host.

This guide does not cover the full configuration and operation of the software – merely the host prerequisites.

    Hardware/Operating System Requirements

Clarity requires a server-class Windows Server operating system to be the central web server.

A dedicated server is highly recommended.  Whether you will be using Revit Server in your environment or not, the prerequisites are the same for Clarity, so the System requirements below should be referenced.

I highly recommend that you go with the Performance requirements, but no less than the Value for either circumstance of concurrent users.

Projects must be stored on a physical drive meeting the requirements below.  NAS or

The DWG task is a Revit Task Server task to export DWGs from the Revit model.

They will be exported in the default version of Autocad set up in the Revit model Export Settings if a specific version is not specified in the task setup.

This would be the version you would see when you export manually from Revit by default.

These are the same as all other tasks and can be referenced in this blog post:  https://imaginit.helprace.com/i746-clarity-task-basics-setup-above-the-line
