Don't reset filter/sort settings on task list

I often filter the list of all tasks from all projects, but whenever I run/edit/copy a task, the filter setting gets reset, and I have to refilter again, and again, and again. This is not an efficient setup. Please disable the reset. If a user knows how to apply a filter, they would also know to reset that filter if/when desired.

This also happens to sorting. I sort the list based on Frequency for instance, then click Run on a task. The page refreshes and my sort preference is no longer set.

Thanks Matt,

In this case, I was not actively leaving the page and returning later on. I was deleting tasks from the filtered list and I had to re-apply the filter after every deletion. If it's a short list within the project, this is a non-issue, but when we work with the full task list for all projects, it's another story.

I also wanted to manually run several tasks from the filtered list, but had to re-apply the filter every time.

I'd definitely second this suggestion. I do love the idea that leaving that particular page section or a logout/login resets all filters, but when working in the same section doing repetative tasks (like deleting a long list of unneeded tasks 1 by 1  for example) i would dearly love the filters to stay in place

Will look into this again. We had problems with this before - where someone filtered, left the page and come back later and they didn’t identify that a filter was still applied.

but perhaps we can take another pass at it to be smarter.
