When working on editing tasks would it be possible to manage the "Time", "Enabled" and "Launchable" toggles at the Setup task Page level instead of having to open and edit each task individually?

A minor inconvenience that could save a couple of minutes when editing tasks for larger projects.

It would be helpful if an email could be autogenerated when a user is added to project. Email would include Project number, project name, if it is a RS project or B360, Revit version, and the role.

I set up a room image Task.  Task points at the correct view.  Task Runs.  Images are exported.  New Images are created.  The newly added objects appear but the Tags are missing.  Objects are also listed in the object schedule below.

We've had a few cases where projects were upgraded on ACC and the BIM Manager forgot to go to Clarity and ugrade the project there and tasks just stopped running. Is it possible for Clarity to just do this on it's own?

There are cleanup options in the Clarity task tray, which if checked will try to run once a day about 24 hours after the task tray was started last. Note: We cannot do the cleanup if Revit is running, so if tasks are always running, the cleanup may not occur. There could also be permission issues with deleting things as well at times.

So, if you want to clean up things manually, I have listed the locations below where you can regain some drive space.

You may also want to consider using the Windows Task Scheduler to clean things up.

I think it would be a very nice feature to be able to pop-up a custom warning when the user launches a specific task. e.g. A Custom task that has built in feature to delete the file in destination location and replace it with an updated copy - Would be great to have a popup to use that says, "The Current File will be deleted and replaced with a new copy. Are you sure? " That kind of thing. To allow the user to back-out if they haven't considered everything required for this task etc.

Across the life cycle of our projects, the Filename (a.k.a. Target) often changes slightly depending on whether the file remains national or a state based file among other things. It would be really helpful if we had a way to filter files in my completed tasks list by "Contains" instead of "equals"? Or - can i check multiple in the filter list? 

Also applies to when i want to know what tasks have been run on a particular file name but the path(project) might have been different. e.g. 

If you need to change the path, the version or any other setting specified in the project settings you will need to edit the project.

If you are unable to send diagnostics from the Clarity web portal completed task id, sometimes clearing the content of the logs folder will resolve the issue.

Process

• Log onto the task server as the designated Clarity account
• Exit the Clarity task tray, by right clicking on the Clarity icon and select Exit
• Open Services and Stop the Clarity Windows Task Server Service
• From File Explorer browse to the logs folder for your version of Clarity
• Example: C:\ProgramData\IMAGINiT Technologies\Clarity Task Server 2024\Logs
  • You can zip the logs folder if you want an archive copy or need to send them

I'd like to filter a door table that I'm adding to a Data sheet.  We have nested door panels in our assembled door families.  Currently when I make a Door Table, it's showing the individual nested door families as well as the overall assemble family.  We have used the "Appears In Schedule" parameter to filter out the panels in our Revit Door schedule, I'd like the ability to do the same in our door tables that we've added to our data sheets.

Regularly I need to download a copy of specific models and save them to a client's private drive without all of the attachments and folders.

In the help docs it specifies the following "On the Clarity Task Server, we have begun to support Bentley IMS Accounts"; however when updating the task server configuration to activate the "Use ProjectWise IMS Login" option, it fails to login with IMS and attempts a user/password login.

Perhaps this is due to the web server settings that do not appear to have a method to disassociate a logical account from the web server project authorization settings, there are only options for user/password credentials. Our company standards dictate that all our ProjectWise service accounts are prefaced with "_" and we have never had an issue with 2023 version of Clarity... However after upgrading to 2024 it appears that this introduces errors within the latest version 2024?

Personally I've never had any issue using the ProjectWise API with these usernames before; however the Clarity software seems to cause significant errors with Connection Client software licensing in this latest version... Can we please get this bug patched instead of just writing a warning and pretending that the problem is within the ProjectWise API?

I've been noticing a bottleneck in the scalability of Clarity as a PDF automation tool. You can increase the number of Revit sessions that can run at one time on your task machines, and you can vary the PDF drivers to allow for each session to run PDFs simultaneously. However, varying the drivers only makes sense if you're ok with not having the PDFs coming from Clarity follow the same standard.

Our use case requires all PDFs to be printed as individual sheets, which requires us to have the naming be consistent and clean. Only the Clarity PDF driver does

Error That error means that the file is too large to send back to the host via http so the config file needs to be modified to allow for larger file sizes. Task Error There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. ---> Maximum request length exceeded. If you exceed the default maximum file size which is 400000 you will need to fix a config file to accommodate processing larger file sizes, or enable uploading in chunks (preferred method).
