More options for Task Sequence target override

We would like for there to be a way to specify additional options in the task sequence target.

e.g. Task 1 & 2 use the main task sequence file target - but task 3 uses it's individual set target.

We run seqence tasks that take a single file, update the file and the duplicate the file based on criteria. I would then like to continue the task sequence - but change the target to the newly created files.

alternatively an option to sequence a task sequence? Sequence 1 includes sequence 2 and 3 for example? This would also solve the need for us

Today, for us, a task sequence is still something that works on a single model (grouping together all of the tasks to run on a single loaded model).

We've poked around at how best to do what you're asking about - it's just a little hypothetically tricky, depending on whether all of the other tasks need to finish first or not.

In your case, the best workaround we have is to kick off the extra task afterwards with a post action Batch file, which can launch a task with the ClarityAdmin command. Reach out to us at support (at) rand.com if you want to discuss in deeper detail.
