Clarity Task Basics Setup-Above the Line
This blog is to cover the basic task setup Above the Line
When I say ‘above the line’ I am referring to the area shown below which is common to most tasks.
I am using a PDF task in this example, but this will apply to most Task types.
Above the Line
This is where you will set the basic settings of the task

Scope
- There are different options depending on the task
- File: This will run against specific models
- Project: This will run against ALL models
- If Project scope is chosen, Revit will load each model defined in the project. If the defined View/Sheet set exists, the views will be exported to the PDF. All sheets are sorted at the end based on their sheet order parameter. The consolidated PDF is then delivered to the project Artifacts folder.
- Server: Can only be configured from the global Tasks setup page
