Tasks the have an invalid Target should report failed

When a task is copied to a new project sometimes the target was not updated so it points to a model that does not exist in the project. Even though it is scheduled to start the task never starts and does not create an error.

This can also happen when the model name or path changes. No error is logged.

Please create and error " Missing Target" so the Clarity manager is notified that the project has an issue.

So today - if a task has an explicit (non-wildcarded) target, and it doesn't match any files, it doesn't even get created.

You'd like for it to actually create an empty task that automatically fails with a "Missing Target: <Model Path>" Error Message, so that it's not lost?
