B360 Configuration

We seem to be having trouble with Clarity accessing our B360 projects consistently.

We have the 0Auth Settings configured for B360 and have updated those credentials.

The Clarity Task Automation Service Configuration on our task servers is set to automatically login to B360 in Revit.

We are using the same admin login and password everywhere in Clarity.  That account has access to all of our B360 projects.

Do we also need to open each version or Revit and login to B360 in order to run tasks on B360 projects?

You will need to login inside of Revit at least once. That is a different set of credentials than what is configured on the web.

We will attempt to keep the task server consistently logged into BIM360 in Revit- but it’s challenging. Having desktop connector installed can help or hurt.

Thanks.  We haven't installed desktop connector on the task servers yet.  We'll try that to see if it helps maintain the B360 login.

Tasks seem to be executing, and Clarity is accessing B360 projects.  However, we are getting this message on the project home page for all of our B360 projects.

What does this mean?

That is an indication of one of a few things:

1. Most Likely:  The Clarity Monitoring Service running on the Clarity server has stopped (it provides background scanning of BIM360 project files).

2. Also possbile: that the "Token" that we use (as configured in the Server/Settings/OAuth) page has "gone bad" for some reason. Check the OAuth page and see if it says anything about your token(s) needing to be re-activated.

Matt,

1. We just rebooted the Clarity server last week.  I looks like the Clarity Monitoring Service is running.

2. I also updated the default B360 credentials (hworrell) last week.  That login is the primary B360 admin account that we have used to login on the task servers.  There is a secondary set of credentials that 'appears to be invalid'.  The project assigned to that is a C4R project that has been archived. Can I just remove that secondary set of credentials?

Another (possibly related) issue.

We have a task to export some views from a B360 project to DWG.  In the 'post action' we would like to upload those dwg files to B360 to share with the team.

I get this error when I try to configure the B360 upload.

We are trying to upload to the same hub where the original Revit file that the dwgs are exported from exists.  The dialog finds the Target Hub and the Project.  When I test the path it reports that it can't find the Hub?

Any update or suggestions?

It appears that scheduled tasks for B360 projects are not running.  They seem to run fine when manually executed.
