External Reporting Link causes error/crash of browser

When clicking the "external reporting link" under project home i receive the following error. This greys out the entire screen and forces us to close and re-log in. 
 
An has error occurred in Clarity. Further information may be available in the server log files.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed or updated to allow for external reporting?

I'm not aware of any setting that would interfere with this...

Can you repeat the operation, then immediately go to the Server > Logs  page and send in the Clarity Web Application Logs?
