Could you add parameters to show who created a task and who modified it last?

I think it would be really helpful to know who created a task and to see an edit history. I'm sure it's asking too much to have a version history for tasks and a recover deleted tasks, but at least knowing who created and edited (and when) would be really helpful when trying to track down issues or clean up excessive tasks on a project.
