Hi, the Model Map visualiztion is cool, but we need the ability to export the data to a CSV file or Excel, etc. as this is a lot more useful at times.

The Model Map is built from a table exported by the RevitDBExport task called "ExternalReferences", I think?
I believe that you can make a report in the reports section that shows this in tabular form, and will let you export to Excel.
