We are using Clarity 2021 and never used to restrict access to projects since we only had one mechanical contractor using Clarity.  Now we are adding another contractor and need to restrict access to the rest of the project,  When I setup a test user and Group, I only checked on access for one project but I can still see all the rest of the projects.

Is this correct or is there something I need to check?

Every time I change the sheet order parameter to something other than what it currently is set at it does not save and reverts back to the original setting upon updating the task. 

We are having complaints about the amount of time to open projects in Revit 2020 on our Clarity Server.  Is there a way to track throughput to the clients Clarity Accelerators?

There aren't any issues with the Revit 2018 just the Revit 2020.

Anyone else using Egnyte as their primary file storage platform? I want to be sure tasks can be automated utilizing the desktop connector.

So i'm trying to set up routine exports from our design models to a GCs glue hub. Ideally, I'd like to export several views with .GLUE appended to them and push that to the GCs glue project. I don't have glue set up on my account so I cannot host the GCs workflow on my account?

I'm sure I could set up the task to export views with *.GLUE in the name to select which elements are being exported but how do i control which glue account/project the files are pushed to?

I have a project where the Project dashboard is reporting the file size to be 133.66MB, but Model Metrics is showing a number "653029376." 

The project only has one Revit file, so I don't think the second number is some sort of aggregate. Why does the Dashboard and Model Metrics show different numbers for file size?

Is there a way to export nwc where the source filename/path reflects the actual central model, and not the "-detached" version?

The problem is that when trying to use Navisworks Switchback, the link to the Revit model is broken because the source file path contains the -detached suffix when the nwc is exported, so Navis and Revit cannot complete the Switchback connection.

Is there a setting I'm missing?  Thanks!

I would like to know what are the rules for measuring '# of Views' an '# of Views not on Sheets'. The number showed by Clarity is much bigger than what I can find in Revit after summing up all views, schedules and legends together. Any ideas?

While watching the Task Server it shows success and complete but is not publishing the model. It gives a BIM 360 Forge Error. 

on the Task Server I opened Revit and navigated to the model and was able to publish manually so the authorization is working for the signed in clarity user. Not sure how to reauthorize the BIM 360 Forge access. Is this an issue with the token?

In the Keynote Usage Report, is there a way to use the Element ID's of elements in drafting views to also include their data in the report? The reports I've been generating only include keynotes used in modeled views. It would be more helpful to get a comprehensive count and location of all keynotes used in the file for QA & QC of a document set.

Is there a task for the Revit ODBC database export?

Hi There,

I'm trying to print dwg's that are stored in ProjectWise to PDF's. 

However, when attempting to select, or filter for the input files, i'm prompted with an empty dialog (see attached)

In this scenario - are we able to pull the files directly from PW? or do they need to exported to a common location first?

Hello, In the Alternate IFC In the configuration of "Configuration Name" I cannot retrieve my personalized export parameters from my Revit model. I tried to do DBexport but nothing or done. For information, my central model is on BIM 360.    

Created Launchable Task sequence for one revit file,  so the users can select which sheet set to export, under Launchable parameters --> ‘Shared’ selected 'view/sheet set to print'. When run the task that parameter drop down shows only ‘'ALL SHEETS' so user cannot select anything.

Second issue is  If I click on the dots next to 'view/sheet set to print' --> ‘View Expression/SheetSet Selection’ I cannot select any of the check boxes, have to cancel and reopen to be able to select.

We have tested and confirmed that the model metrics, database export, performance advisor and a couple select dyanmo scripts run as expected with the task workset definition set to NONE. This dramatically reduces the overhead time opening and running these routine tasks...

Now, i have ~200 projects with 4 tasks that need their task definitions updated. Is there an easier way to do this than editing each project 1 by 1 in the web interface?

I'm not certain how to interpret this information. It is super helpful to know more about what's going on in our peer groups, but i'm not sure how to read this information as presented.

Is there a good workflow for transferring files (all the files) from ProjectWise to BIM360/ACC?

I am noticing that we do not have the OneDrive Sync Task available or a few others, such as Dropbox or Google Drive. I do have the Sharepoint one though. Are they only available if it is authorized?

I have been trying to use the BIM360 Download, File Copy, Sharepoint Download all to no avail. I am unsure what to input in source folder or destination folder or how to use the post action tasks, as help on these Tasks provide very little in support.

I am working to create a task that can print specific sheets from my model to PDF and follow the naming of the sheet as the file name.

However, the biggest issue so far seems to be that in my "Filename Builder" pop-up box I don't have 2 parameters that seem like they should be there according to examples posted in the Help area (Using File Keywords - User Interface for Filename Building).

I tried running a Database Export again with no success on getting "View" and "Sheet" to populate for me to use in creating my new task. See
