Difference between File Size reported in Project Home vs Model Metrics

I have a project where the Project dashboard is reporting the file size to be 133.66MB, but Model Metrics is showing a number "653029376." 

The project only has one Revit file, so I don't think the second number is some sort of aggregate. Why does the Dashboard and Model Metrics show different numbers for file size?

I think we'd like to have a look at your data.

It might be interesting to see it on the graph over time if it is going up-and-down, or if it's consistently been this high.
