Clarity PDF Task Named Page Setup vs In Session
When setting up a Revit PDF task and defining the Page Setup area of the task, you can use a Named Page Setup, or define the settings in the task [In-Session]
It is important to know that the PDF driver that is used is set on the Task Server in the Clarity Task tray, unless you are using the Revit Export settings in this task (Revit 2022+)
The only PDF driver that can run in multiple sessions of Revit aside from the Revit PDF Export, is the PDFx driver.
All other pdf drivers can only run in one instance of Revit at a time.
In Session
If you use [In-Session] all of the settings are manually defined in the task.
Appearance controls the quality of the print and Low is likely sufficient for most Revit prints and will print much quicker than Medium or High.

Named Page Setup
If you use a Named Page Setup, we use the settings defined in the model and ignore the settings in the task.
When you initially set up the task in Clarity you will still see all the other settings, but once you enter the Named Page Setup, they will be hidden.
