Currently, Clarity provides powerful automation and reporting capabilities for Revit projects, allowing users to extract model data, generate reports, and automate workflows efficiently.

I would like to propose introducing a similar capability for Autodesk Plant 3D projects, enabling structured data extraction and reporting directly through Clarity.

Enabling pathing to Forma instead of a Network Drive.

Would be nice to be able to path to a Forma project drive rather than a network drive. A good example would be the Transfer Project Standards task, specifically the Source Model Path and Family paths should be able to be mapped to a Forma folder rather than copying files from Forma and having to put them on a network drive.

Ability for Clarity to utilize Revit Sheet Collections, more functionality

We're currently seeing issues when using export tasks such as PDF when we have multiple Sheet Collections that may have the same sheet number. This will cause the task to error due to the duplicate numbers.

Currently our team is looking to utilize the Sheet Collections without error but ultimately have the ability to move files to a destination via post action into a folder based on the sheet set name, utilizing the process of dynamic subfolders that is seen in the ACC Upload post action. The main issue is the way that Clarity caches the files when exporting and our models having the duplicated sheet number, causing our errors.

Right now, the only work around would be to have multiple tasks filtering based on sheet set to avoid the duplicate sheet numbers. Really just looking for more functionality in Clarity when projects are utilizing Sheet Collections.

Preserve Original URL After SSO Authentication

When accessing a specific page on our Clarity server via a direct URL, the navigation flow is interrupted if Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication is required. After successful SSO login, users are always redirected to the default start page instead of being returned to the originally requested URL.

This behavior prevents deep linking and forces users to manually navigate back to their intended destination. Could you please preserve and forward the original URL through the SSO process so that, upon successful authentication, users are redirected back to the page they initially attempted to access.

Filter task template assignments by project status

Message field for alerts

Users often complain about how cryptic Clarity alert emails are, especially model alerts. It would be great to have an additional field for a custom message that we could define for each configured alert to explain why the user is receiving the alert and which action they should take next.

Task list page length control

Add a page length dropdown list of user choices for the length of task items on the page. 100 would be nice. The apparent current length of 20 can be annoying.

repeatedly erroring task cleanup

Could we get two setting for the Erroring Task Cleanup Alert. Currently, we can either notify the coordinator on the project or disable the task. I would like to have one setting to notify the user and a second one that disables it if the error is not fixed.

For example, after 3 errors in a row it will start sending an email to the coordinator so they can look into it. Then the second setting would kick after 6 days to disable the task if it was not fixed.

It would also be nice if Clarity could auto send a report to someone, maybe the technical contacts, when it deactivates a task in case there is no coordinator set in the project users settings.

File Keywords - Global List

Omit Subfolders from target path

Provide a "Do not include subfolders" option when pathing to a Target in any task. There are many times where I only want to select files in a folder but not include any files in it's subfolders.

Using *.rvt in the end of any target folder path still includes it's subfolders.

Clarity for Revit Addin - "Run on This Model Only" option, ON by default

In the Clarity Addin for Revit, make it so the "run on this model only" option checked by default OR to remove the option all together making it run "This Model Only" consistently. Trying to avoid the user input step of checking that run this model only checkbox.

Allowing the Clarity for Autocad Addin to function with ACC based projects and develop addin further.

Executive Summary Email by time/task/server/global

Automated Email of Executive summary of custom task Dashboard from tasks tab or just custom summary email by bracketed queries.

"All Error tasks in previous 7 days"
"Summary of This Task 4 days from date of report"
"Summary of last weeks tasks globally/by Task Server"

This is all information that is 'gettable' I'm just looking for an automation engine to email out to people that don't want, and don't need, their fingers in Clarity's workings. Most of these queries are not able to be emailed without my intervention...(copy/paste,Combinate, Format, etc...) I would prefer to not have to manage it.

Is it possible to use something like [ClarityProject:sharepoint] to specify the sharepoint site that will be used by several task post actions? it doesn't seem like this function is currently possible?

Also curious if it is possible to do this for the Target field as well.

Right now we have to go update all of the tasks if we need to change these.

Task splitting limit

Add options to the Global Task Server Configuration page to limit the number of child tasks created when splitting a task. Currently some of our PDF tasks are being split into more task than we have servers. This is causing a back log when all of the servers are tied up for 2-3 hours by one project. We would like to put a limit on the number or child tasks if a user's setting cause too many.
